After watching a couple of TED talks that examine the impact of storytelling in teaching, author Michael Rosengart went back to the drawing board to refine his exercise book.’I knew that using PreHab exercises could be very impactful in training, I’ve seen it with my clients and players,’ Michael admits. ‘I also knew that my exercise illustrations were a hit with many people,’ Michael continues, ‘but I wanted it (the book) to be better.’ So, Michael added tons of stories and examples that highlight specific PreHab exercises and techniques. ‘In fact,’ Michael adds, ‘I was motivated to make this book better by a motto we have on my football team.’

Michael is one of the Strength Coaches for the Santa Monica College football team, whose Head Coach, Gifford Lindhiem, starts every practice with the following motto:

‘The Good, Better and Best. Never let it rest-
Until the Good Get Better and Better becomes Best.’

‘This edition is my best work yet,’ Michael chimes.

‘This book is to be tool for runners,’ Michael shares. ‘It’s made for people to pick it up and get something from it and then put it down for a while just like travelers use a guide book when aboard or planning their trips. I don’t expect people to follow it cover to cover each time they work out- it would take forever! There’s a lot in there. But, the more people pick it up, the more they can get something new that they can add to their training and once ‘learning’ becomes a habit,’ Michael says, ‘then the sky’s the limit.’
